The Nominees Are…THe 2017 Tony Awards!

The 2017 Tony AWards will take place on Sunday, June 11. Kevin Spacey will host the 71st awards show live from Radio City Musical Hall in New York City. The show will air on CBS. Leading this year’s nominees is “Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812” with a total of with twelve nominations including Best Musical, Best Original Score for David Malloy, and Best Direction of a Musical for Rachel Chavkin, both Josh Groban and Denee Benton also received nominations. Close behind with ten nominations was the revival of “Hello, Dolly!” starring Tony Award winner Bette Midler. This is the entertainer’s first lead rode in a musical.
