  1. . Miss Earth United States – A wardrobe malfunction and an oversized crown couldn’t ruin the newly crowned Miss Earth United States Corrin Stellakis’s moment in the spotlight. 2  Miss USA -For the first time in 14 years (and only third time in history), Miss District of Columbia took home the crown at the Miss USA pageant. Deshauna Barber, a 26-year-old Army Reserve officer and IT analyst for the U.S. Department of Commerce, won first place over Miss Georgia Emanii Davis and Miss Hawaii Chelsea Hardin, the runner-up. Miss United States – Alayah Benavidez was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas home of the Alamo, Riverwalk and five-time national NBA champions, the San Antonio Spurs. Her passion for literature is what led Alayah to begin her campaign, “Read the Way,” which focuses on childhood literacy. She has already reached hundreds of students in Texas with her message and has been thrilled to see them each take on and complete her reading challenge. (Video: Tony Fitton)

Miss America – 21 year old Savvy Shields of Fayetteville, Arkansas was crowned Miss America 2017 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Shields, 21, whose full name is Savannah, doesn’t just get a crown and a title. She also wins a $50,000 scholarship and a six-figure salary. Shields, who will have an appearance agreement with Miss America partner Dick Clark Productions to attend various awards show red carpets, embarks on her “year of service” Monday morning after a ceremonial toe-dip in the Atlantic Ocean. 5. Miss World America – 22-year old Audra Mari was crowned Miss World America during the national finals held at the Cherry Blossom Ballroom of the Gaylord National Resort in National Harbor, Maryland, on July 8th. Audra, who hails from Fargo, North Dakota, is an advocate for the STOMP Out Bullying Organization. Audra is not new to the pageant scene, being known to fans as the first runner-up in both the Miss Teen USA 2011 and Miss USA 2014 competitions.
